The Desert Falls Water and Adventure Park is located at the heart of Salwa beach resort, situated in the southern region of Qatar near the Saudi Arabian border. With over 25 rides, slides and attractions such as the Whizzard Mat Racer, King Cobra and Ship Kids Pool to name a few, this park is one you must not miss while on your Situated off Salwa Road in the Abu Samra district south-west of the capital, Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park is waiting to be discovered. Featuring 56 slides and rides, and 18 attractions, it is the most exciting aqua adventure playground in Qatar. There’s a souq selling all kinds of swimming essentials, while dining options involve numerous restaurants, kiosks, food trucks and authentic Made in Qatar delicacies.

One of Doha’s most iconic attractions, the Doha Corniche is a seven kilometer stretch of gorgeous promenade overlooking the serene waterfront. With a crescent shaped walkway around the Doha Bay, the Corniche offers the best views of the city’s modern skyline, making the epicenter of various occasions such as the National Day celebrations and the National Sports Day. Watch the dhows lighting up the Corniche in the evenings while on your walk around the bay or simply take a boat ride to soak in the vista of this city.

Education City Stadium is built with a focus on making it easy for everyone to access, especially for fans with disabilities. Shaded paths lined with trees lead to seats with scenic views. You can reach the stadium using the Doha Metro and trams, which helps reduce traffic. There are also bike paths and racks to encourage eco-friendly travel. The Education City Stadium is accessible by car. Parking is available in a dedicated parking lot. The stadium is accessible by Doha Metro and is also connected to the Education City tram system, facilities include football training pitches, a golf course and shops.

The Inland Sea or Khor Al Adaid as the locals fondly call it is an extraordinary landscape with sand dunes and sea beds that will leave you wanting for more. Located to the south-eastern side of the country, this site is recognized by UNESCO to be Qatar’s largest natural reserve. The reserve is home to wildlife, marine life, and vegetation alike. Enjoy spotting turtles, flamingos, dugongs, Arabian oryx, camels, and more.

Indulge in some retail therapy – The shops that line the alleyways of the souq beckon with all manner of goods both practical and fantastical. From shoes to antiques to handicrafts, the souq rewards treasure hunters, with artifacts from around the region. Fishing and pearl-diving equipment vie for attention with woven fabrics, rugs, wooden furniture, and glass ornaments that are made in adjacent workshops. Aspiring musicians can delight in local varieties of drums, flutes and string instruments, including the melancholic oud.
